Coaching Staff:

The BKBeasts have lots of talent, love, experience and expertise at their disposal. Our coaching team includes BKB route-setters, BKB’s youth program director, dedicated employees and nationally recognized professional climbers; the diversity of specialized skills our coaches bring to the program is truly astounding. It goes without saying that our coaches love working with kids, but they also constantly strive to become better instructors and mentors; they hold themselves to an equal or higher standard of personal improvement than the kids on the team. Our entire coaching staff is involved in ongoing professional development courses ranging from peer group feedback to nationally recognized certifications.

Brooklyn Boulders holds our climbers and coaches to the highest standards in sportsmanship and conduct, and employ a coaching staff worthy of being emulated. Find out more about our coaches here!

It Doesn’t End with Climbing:

A source of great team pride for the Beasts is our focus on building not only amazing climbers, but amazing people as well. This is why we incorporate lessons on outdoor ethics, etiquette and stewardship into our programs. We are also one of the only climbing teams in the country that provides opportunities for community service events and an in house tutoring staff we want our climbers to achieve academic success that compliments their success on the wall!
